Matrice 4TD Extended Protection Plan
Crash your drone? We'll ship a replacement the next day. The Drone Deer Extended Protection Plan gives you one full year of crash coverage for your Matrice 4TD. File a claim, ship it back, pay the $899 replacement fee, and we get a new or factory-refurbished drone out the door next day. No waiting weeks for repairs. No lost jobs. No runarounds. If we're out of stock, we refund you the full retail price. You're covered either way.
What's Covered
Accidental crash damage including impact damage, mechanical failure from a crash, water damage from a crash, and damage caused by environmental conditions during flight.
What's Not Covered
• Loss or theft — you must have the drone to send back
• Intentional damage or abuse
• Cosmetic-only damage (scratches or scuffs that don't affect flight)
• Modified drones — firmware mods, hardware mods, aftermarket parts, or unauthorized repairs
• Consumables — batteries and propellers
• Damage that occurred more than 30 days before filing a claim
1. Add the plan — Purchase at checkout or within 14 days of buying your drone.
2. If you crash, file a claim — Log into your account, go to your order, and hit "File a Claim." Submit photos, your serial number, and pay the $899 replacement fee when you file.
3. Ship the drone back — We send you a prepaid shipping label. Return the full kit: Matrice 4TD drone (no batteries), RC Plus 2 remote controller, hardcover carrying case, 240W charger, battery charging strip, and
extra propellers and accessories. Keep your batteries.
4. Get your replacement — Once we receive and inspect your drone, we ship your replacement same day or next day via UPS Ground. We'll email you a tracking number when it ships.
Your replacement will be a brand new or DJI factory-refurbished unit. Factory-refurbished drones have been fully inspected and restored to manufacturer specifications by DJI and carry the same functionality and reliability as new units.
If we don't have a replacement drone in stock, we will refund you the current retail price of the drone at the time of your claim within 5 business days. The Extended Protection Plan is not available for replacement units.
