Love having the extra batteries to extend my flying time up in the hills!
The course is extremely comprehensive and covers every part of the drone that you need to know about! I was skeptical at first but I was VERY happy to see how in depth the team went on this. I am a very technically/mechanically inclined person and this course helped me learn the ins and outs quicker.
This Drone has been great for us. We just opened our own business “Patterson Drone Services LLC”. Highly recommend using Drone Deer Recovery to get it from. They were quick and easy!
I would rate the SAR Pilot Intro – Thermal Drone Rescue Course as excellent (5 out of 5). The course provided a clear and practical introduction to thermal drone operations, search-and-rescue techniques, and the skills needed to support effective rescue missions.
The team at Drone Deer Recovery is on top of their game. Readily available to answer all of my pre-purchase questions. They have also been very responsive after the sale. Only good things to say about them. Thank you for helping me start my drone adventure!
The Pilot locater app gave me 26 jobs alone last year. I have been called for wildlife recoveries, lost pets, and even and water leak inspections. From people who got my information from this app. Great Purchase and great team.
Thank you DDR!
A few nights after having the drone system, i had to go help a neighbor out in locating 3 horses and a donkey that had gotten out due to a recent storm. They was located in a mater of minutes. I look forward in doing deer recovery’s, and search and rescues in the near future.
I really appreciate the quick response after the purchase. Fantastic on replying to emails. Thank you Loretta. Additionally, the videos are well done. I learned a lot because the instructor goes through things in a very logical way and is a great communicator.
Listing in the pilot directory started generating leads very quickly. This time of year they have been for lost pets, but I’m sure that will change closer to fall. Very pleased so far!

Would like it if I could move my pin around because I travel alot for work to move my location around and just have drone in truck. Other than that have flow for a few people and has been great
I was hesitant on buying one just because I didn’t know how well it would perform. I have not found one thing that has been a disappointment. I have really enjoyed viewing wildlife and the zoom on the drone is unbelievable. I would highly recommend this the 4t
Great batteries made for the DJI Matrice 4T. I always get consistent run time. Can't have the drone returning home before the bad guy is found! We buy all of our drone related equipment from Drone Deer Supply. Great education tools, and even better customer service. Fast shipping and they always have what we need.
When you order your drone, make sure you add the backup battery for the controller and a second pair or props. Loretta in customer service can help if you have any questions about the exact items to add.
See the Difference a Drone Can Make in Your Colorado Hunting Experience!
With the help of thermal drones, thousands of deer are being recovered that would otherwise have been forever lost. *when flown by a skilled pilot. Unlike dogs that push wildlife in the course of tracking a deer, a drone locates a carcass from 400ft without disturbing wildlife.
See the Difference
Thermal cameras help find wildlife like a moth to a flame. You really have to to see it to believe it.
Here's how it works:
From 400ft, perform grid searches of surrounding area with the thermal camera. In most environments it's possible to search over 400 acres per hour.
Switch to Zoom camera to identify the deer and confirm if it is the buck being searched for.
Drop a pin and recover another buck that may have never been found otherwise.

Colorado’s history is rich and diverse, shaped by its Native American roots, exploration, and mining booms. Before European settlers arrived, the area was home to indigenous peoples like the Ute, Arapaho, and Cheyenne tribes. In the early 1800s, Spanish explorers ventured into the region, but it wasn’t until the mid-1800s that the state saw an influx of settlers driven by the Pike’s Peak Gold Rush. Colorado joined the Union as the 38th state in 1876, earning the nickname the "Centennial State." Known for its rugged mountains, which attracted miners and, later, tourists, Colorado is a hub for outdoor adventure and historical exploration.
